This card, one of the ten original “Dual Earths” in the game, is extremely powerful – as well as extremely valuable, as Wizards of the Coast has sworn never to reprint it again! Potential bidders will only have until Wednesday, August 3 to bid on this highly sought-after Magic map.
This dual land, which produces blue or red mana when tapped, enters the battlefield untapped with no stipulations attached. Additionally, the map also has Island and Mountain land types, which means fetchlands looking for maps with such subtypes can find them without issue. These factors make the original double earths very popular in all Magic format that allows them, such as Legacy, Vintage, and Commander. The map offered here is from Revised edition, volcanic island. This is one of the much sought after dual land cards, which can be played as an island or mountain land. The card has been classified by CGC with the following subcategories: centering (8.5), surface (8), corners (8) and edges (8.5). The work is made by Brian Snoddy. CGC certified 22 specimens obtaining the grade NM/Mint 8 and 68 a higher grade.
